In this blog I will write about the gourmet caviar world, the buzz inside the caviar industry, the fight against illegal caviar trade and the future of wild sturgeons and caviar, and basically everything related to caviar. A short introduction of myself: I am in my 30′s and the youngest of 3. I grew up with two cultures (Swiss and Portuguese) and with the burden of being mostly the last one to call (easy with my family name beginning with a Z, W and Y). My biography is somewhat ‘out of the line’. After school I underwent an apprenticeship inside a legendary textile company, especialised in embroidery. Surviving my troubled teenager years and the Swiss army, I wanted to celebrate life in- and outside an airplane. Swissair, R.I.P. Since early childhood I am affected with the dangerous travel virus. After four years of duty as a Flight Attendant I checked in at Warner Brothers, searching for my marketing skills. Back then, it didnt went so well, so I searched in other places too. In time I realized that I wanted to do good and inscripted myself for a 3-year bachelor programm to be a Social Worker. In a logical progress, life made me part of ZwyerCaviar… So now I socialize with fishes too – sturgeons mainly. Safer for me – and them!

 

Currently I am living in Uruguay and Buenos Aires, with frequent visits to Switzerland.
