ZwyerCaviar takes responsibility for its commercial operations. That is why it is striving annually to offset its carbon. Myclimate.org is an international initiative which originated 2002 as an ETH spin-off in Switzerland. But how trustworthy is it?
Recently the prestigious Tufts University (near Boston, Massachusetts) underwent an international evaluation of carbon offset providers. From 170 carbon offset providers worldwide, Myclimate.org got among the top 3.

In the modern times we live in we see the depletion of the wild caspian sturgeon and I believe that farmed caviar is the way forward for meeting the demand that is huigh in the caviar market. At the same time as meeting the demand for caviar it will allow natural fish stocks in the Caspian sea to recover from the slaughter of the past decades. It would be a crying shame to loose a fish that has lived for over 200 million years just because of greed and overfishing.

true words! lets hope that the caspian sea states will understand this any time soon. there’s no time left…
but as true connosseurs request high quality, its not always easy to find the right replacements for wild caviar.
among the best producers, surely there are the farms like in france (aquitaine), israel (galilee) and uruguay (black river sturgeons).
